Every chip stays — grouped by meaning, coded by colour
The problem isn’t too many chips, it’s that they’re all the same weight and colour, so nothing stands out and tenders get lost. The fix: a colour-coded left spine for urgency, the same chips always in the same three clusters (Decision · Dates · Money), and a tinted “Closing this week” group that floats the urgent ones to the top.

Why this fixes “it gets lost”
Three things doing the work
- Colour-coded urgency spine — scan the left edge and the red ones jump out. No reading required.
- Fixed clusters — Decision · Dates · Money are always in the same place, same colour family. Your eye stops hunting.
- Self-sorting groups — “Closing this week” floats the time-critical bids to the top; closed/no-bids sink and go grey.
Nothing was removed — verdict, next-step, pre-bid, bid-end, opening, value (stated / EMD-based / approx), EMD, source, dual-portal, Manual, ✅ Submitted, 🆕 New and ★ are all here — just organised so they read at a glance.
